I'm a poet and teacher in Prince George, BC. My first two books of poetry, "understories" and "This Isn't the Apocalypse We Hoped For" were published by Caitlin Press. My most recent book is called "Undiscovered Country", through Mother Tongue Publishing (Fall, 2018). I also have three chapbooks: "Deerness", "Four Neat Holes" and "The Picket Fence Diaries." My poems have been published in The Malahat Review, GRAIN, CV2, Event, subTerrain, and in various anthologies, including Rocksalt, 4 Poets, & The Best Canadian Poems, 2011.

Is This Beulah Land?

   Is This Beulah Land? is a new videopoem collaboration that will be premiered on the big screen this Sunday, Mar 9th, 2014, at Cinema CNC's    Film Festival (at the PG Playhouse), using a poem that will hopefully become a part of my third book. The Sky Canoe is Going to Bristol, UK

The Sky Canoe has been accepted into the Liberated Words videopoem festival. It will be screened the same day, Oct 3rd, here in Prince George at the Two Rivers Gift Shop, when we unveil the Sky Canoe

The Sky Canoe Went to Scotland!

The Sky Canoe videopoem was screened in Dunbar, Scotland this August as part of their Filmpoem festival. This is what Alastiar Cook, the organizer, had to say about it: "We screened The Sky Canoe in the main programme and it was viewed by a full house and very well received. Thank you for allowing us to screen your film. It’s exceptional!"
